Publicforums

PublicForum Book Talks and Webinars feature speakers whose work contributes to the effective leadership and management of stakeholder engagement processes.  Circle Club members receive free or discounted registration for these events.

PublicForums feature guest authors or speakers who:

  • Discuss new or emerging tools, techniques, ideas or trends for public participation
  • Provide new insights or alternative viewpoints that can further illuminate the management or leadership of participatory processes
  • Offer practical guidance or approaches based on personal experience and/or research

PublicForum Book Talks (generally 60-90 minutes each) are conducted via telephone audio. Guest authors are interviewed by host Beth Offenbacker, followed by a Q&A session featuring questions submitted by participants.  Interviews are recorded and made available as free podcasts.

PublicForum Webinars (generally 90 minutes each) are conducted over the internet with streaming video and participant interaction via telephone audio.  Presentations by featured speakers (or panels) are followed by an interactive discussion/Q&A session featuring questions submitted by participants.  Webinars are recorded and available for download for a nominal fee.
