New! Tech Lab SeriesWith so many online tools available for stakeholder engagement (as of today, there are 140+ on the Participate DB database alone), it's sometimes hard to differentiate among them. How do you know which tool is best for your project or organization? To help you sort through the clutter, we've created a new Tech Lab series. This occasional series will feature programs about a variety of tools used for engagement. |
In each 60-minute program, you'll learn about a tool's capabilities and key features. You'll get to see the actual tool in use and ask questions if you wish. These Tech Lab sessions are valuable for: They're also are ideal for narrowing your short list of prospective tools, as you consider upgrading or changing what you're presently using. Tech Lab programs are recorded and later made available for on-demand viewing on the PublicDecisions website. About Engagement HQ
Engagement HQ, from BangtheTable, is an interactive project portal that incorporates social media. Its user friendly features allow you to meet, listen and respond to your community's ideas, comments and opinions.

Guest Speaker
Crispin Butteriss, Ph.D., co-founded BangTheTable in 2007 after a successful public sector career using his policy development and stakeholder relationship management skills in the fields of environmental protection, land use planning and economic development. He was an award winning undergraduate student and went on to complete a doctorate in the application of adult and organisational learning to community and stakeholder engagement processes. Crispin helped establish the International Association for Public Participation in Australia in 1999 and remains an active committee member today. He currently devotes his time to developing the theory and practice of online community engagement through his client support, training, public speaking and blogging. |
